Squad Announced for Kelso Clash

Head Coach Derek O'Riordan has named his starting XV for the opening game of the 2023/24 Scottish Men's Premiership against Kelso tomorrow at Stoneyhill.

The experienced props of Craig Owenson and Neil McNairn are joined by debutant hooker Raymond Mackie. Jack Haynes is joined by Loretto newcomer Joss Arnold in the second row with a familiar back line of Jordan Lister, Matthew Crawford and Paul Bogie.

In the backs, Fionn Call and Danny Owenson are the scrum and fly half pairing, with Sandy Watt and new recruit Ollie Craig on the wings. Rory Watt makes his league debut as Captain in the outside centre with Rory Smith partnering him in the inside. James Ferguson comes in at full back.

On the bench, Robert Stott looks to make a return from injury and Josh Herbert comes in as the only other non debutant, with Darren Miller, Gavin Inkster and Ben Heber all looking to make their competitive debut off the bench.

It's set to be an exciting game so join us at Stoneyhill for just £10 (£5 concessions and members, U18 go free) or alternatively you can watch our Super 2XV on the other side of town at Pinkie Playing Fields as they take on Glasgow Accies in the Inter City League.
