2026/27 Memberships Now Available

Memberships for the 2026/27 Season at Musselburgh RFC are now open.
Prices remain the same as the 2025/26 season as voted at the AGM in June. Memberships are available to buy online at Fanbase.
The following letter was released by the Board with all details and answers to F&Qs.

Our 2026-2027 season memberships are due for renewal on 1st August 2026 and we are delighted to confirm that the board has agreed there will be no fee increases this year.
Last year, the club signed up to Fanbase and we realise this was huge change to the way things were done in the past so we wanted to explain more.
Why Fanbase?
· It makes the membership renewal process easier and more consistent.
· It helps the club see how the membership is growing and identifies gaps where we can work to attract new members.
· It is helpful to track income so the club can budget efficiently. It is tricky when membership fees are paid multiple ways and Fanbase streamlines the process.
· It stores member data securely.
· In the future, we hope to expand how we use Fanbase to notify fans of important news or events.
What does it mean for me?
· If you have already set up an account, you don’t need to do anything else this year. Your existing direct debit will continue to pay your subscription.
· If you haven’t had a chance to sign up yet, we would be grateful if you would take a few minutes to do that now and the link is here.
I’m a patron or life member
· Although you no longer pay membership fees, we still need you to join Fanbase so you are included in our membership data.
I’ve tried before and can’t set up a Fanbase account
· We are here to help! Please speak to Hazel McMillan (Membership Secretary) or one of the board members and we will be happy to go take time to go through the process with you. It would really help the club if all members were on Fanbase and once you’ve set up an account you shouldn’t need to do anything more.
Membership cards
· In a bid to become more efficient in terms of cost and time, we’ve decided to stop adding stickers to membership cards. You don’t need to do anything as your card will continue to work as before.
· Renewals are tracked so bar and admission fee discount will be removed if your membership has not been renewed by 31st August 2026.
· Membership cards are for your sole use and are non-transferrable
· Membership cards must be shown at the bar or at the gate to receive discount. Please make it easy for our volunteers as they will need to refuse discount if you don’t show your card.
Please let us know if…
· You are turning 60 on or after 1st August as you will be eligible for an Over 60’s membership. Speak to us and we will organise that for you!
· You currently hold an U21 membership and turn 22 on or after 1st August so we can update your membership type. There will be no change to your membership fee.
· You choose not to renew your membership for any reason. We’d be sorry to see you go so if there’s anything we can help with please have a chat with us before you make that final decision. If you do leave, please return your membership card to the bar.
