Scottish Rugby Ticket Update - 9th November 2020
With the COVID-19 pandemic still affecting many aspects of public life in Scotland the move by the Scottish Government to a new tiered level of restrictions on travel and households meetings across the country means it will not be possible to host spectators at BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh for the Autumn Nations Cup in November.
Scottish Rugby has consulted with the Scottish Government regularly on this matter and they agree it will be unlikely crowds will be possible in the coming weeks, due to the restrictions now in place. Scottish Rugby is disappointed supporters won't be able to come to the stadium this autumn, but consultation continues with the Scottish Government in the expectation that crowds can return at some capacity soon and specifically for the 2021 Guinness Six Nations, should the public health guidelines allow.
As a result, match ticket ballots for the Autumn Nations Cup have closed. This has been communicated to all who entered the ballots.
Guinness Six Nations 2020
Although currently unable to confirm a stadium capacity for the Guinness Six Nations matches, we must still prepare for the eventuality of crowds returning.
In line with the preparatory work carried out for the Autumn Nations Cup, match ticket ballots for the Guinness Six Nations will open for Nevis members to apply from Monday 9 November. These ballots will open to allow Scottish Rugby to react quickly to Scottish Government guidelines in the event of crowds being permitted into BT Murrayfield.
These ballots can only be applied for by Nevis members and will only be drawn, and money taken, if/when crowds have been granted.
Musselburgh RFC Update
Unfortunately Scottish Rugby are currently not offering International tickets through Clubs and the usual club allocation and application process.
SRU are offering ticket applications only for Scottish Rugby Nevis Members (link below which is direct with Scottish Rugby Union and not through Musselburgh RFC).
We will keep members updated on this website, through social media and email should there be any change, however at this time International tickets are only available for application through Scottish Rugby directly via their Nevis membership programme.
