Match Day Fundraisers
A free MRFC polo shirt, delicious lunch, a pint (or soft drink) and free entry to the match will happily be provided each match day in return for a confident and dynamic person or persons to take on our valuable raffle ticket and 50/50 draw ticket selling duties. This involves going round the supporter’s lunch, the sponsor’s room and the bar before the game selling raffle tickets; thereafter selling 50/50 draw ticket at the entrance gate to supporters. A further round of selling after the game through the bar to pick up anyone who has missed out would complete the exercise.
This is expected to take only approx. 1.5 hours before the game, and 30 – 40 minutes after the game on each game day.
This is ideally suited to one or two outgoing and dynamic persons. All ages considered. We would love to hear from you if you have around 2.5 hours or so to spare around each game, and are able to perform the key duty on game day and make a valuable contribution to the Club.
Home game days are listed below. While all games would be appreciated to be covered, even if you can only commit to some would be very helpful.

Does anyone have experience in Database management – particularly email?
As MRFC move further into the digital age, we note that we have a gap in knowledge or expertise in the area of database management.
Through our membership renewals, we are building on the email listing which we had already started. This is used to keep in contact with members, and primarily to support the sending of the monthly newsletter. Given GDPR requirements and a need for efficiency, we would very much appreciate if anyone with any knowledge or expertise in this area could provide some guidance as to how to manage this area effectively. We would anticipate this involves a productive discussion for advice in this area, or only 1 hour each week to monitor and manage the database.
