Join the Burgh today by becoming a member and back East Lothian’s Premier Rugby Club!

The membership year for Musselburgh RFC runs from 1 September 2020 – 31 August 2021.

All current membership for season 19/20 will expire on 31 August 2020 and all membership swipe cards will be marked as inactive at this date if renewal payment / 1st standing order payment has not been received.

Due to the current situation with CoVid 19, all correspondence should be by email, and all payments should be made by electronic bank transfer / standing order.  If this causes you an issue please email membership@musselburghrfc.club and we can look to make alternative arrangements.

**Given current CoVid circumstances we are able to add an additional member benefit - access to our MRFC Beer Garden for members-only bookings.  We can offer a safe outdoor space for members and up to 3 guests.  For booking details check our website, facebook and twitter.**

Membership Renewal for existing members

Should you wish to RENEW A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP, Please follow the steps below:


1.Please email membership@musselburghrfc.club with your name and membership number (you can find this on the back of your MRFC Membership swipe card) advising that you would like to renew your membership for season 20/21.


2.Set up a payment for the appropriate membership fee listed below to be received by the Club before 31 August 2020.  Please ensure you use the correct payment reference [YOURSURNAME2020MEMB] so we can match your payment to your membership, and advise the reference in your email.


3.If you would like to take advantage of our Standing Order option to pay your membership over 12 months, please ensure your 1st payment is received before 31 August 2020 followed by 11 monthly payments.

Patron & Life Members – no action required

If you are not renewing your membership please return your membership card to the club.


 

New Membership Applications

Should you wish to TAKE OUT A NEW MEMBERSHIP, Please follow the steps below:

 

1. Please email membership@musselburghrfc.club with your name, address, contact number, membership type and advise if you are happy that we stay in touch with you via email through the season.


2.Set up a payment for the appropriate membership fee listed below to be received by the Club before 31 August 2020.  Please ensure you use the correct payment reference [YOURSURNAME2020MEMB] so we can match your payment to your membership, and advise the reference in your email.


3. If you would like to take advantage of our Standing Order option to pay your membership over 12 months, please ensure your 1st payment is received before 31 August 2020 followed by 11 monthly payments.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
For bank transfer and standing order payments : please submit your intention to renew your application by email. Memberships will not be activated unless we receive this email and payment or 1st standing order instalment.
Bank Transfer – Please make payments to sort code 801768 account 00224261 using reference ‘YOURSURNAME2020MEMB’.
Standing Order – For appropriate membership types (see fee info) you can take advantage of a monthly standing order for a 12 month period using the information as per bank transfer. The 1st instalment should be made before 31st August 2020 to be eligible for this facility.
Cash, Cheque, Credit Card payments - Please note we are keen not to accept this method of payment given the current CoVid situation, however if this causes you a problem please email membership@musselburghrfc.club and we can make alternative arrangements.

MRFC MEMBERSHIP ‘SWIPE’ CARD

Existing members
You were issued an electronic swipe card last year which showed your 4 digit membership number and was used to swipe to receive your 10% discount at the bar.
All membership cards where membership is not renewed by 31 August 2020 will be deactivated and asked to be returned to the club if membership is not to be renewed.

New Members
You will be issued a new electronic swipe card. This can be used to gain an immediate 10% discount at the bar.  Please note - this discount is applied automatically given the current CoVid members only booking requirements.
New membership cards will be available to collect from the club 5 days after we receive your application email and confirm your payment (or 1st Standing Order instalment). Please therefore ensure any bank transfer / standing order payments are correctly referenced (see payment section) to avoid delay. You will be emailed collection instructions to ensure all requirements of CoVid are adhered to.
The new membership card is non-transferable.
