The membership year for Musselburgh RFC runs from 

1 September 2021 – 31 August 2022.

All current membership for season 20/21 will expire on 31 August 2021 and all membership swipe cards will be marked as inactive at this date if renewal payment / 1st standing order payment has not been received. 

Due to the current situation with CoVid 19, all correspondence should be by email, and all payments should be made by electronic bank transfer / standing order.  If this causes you an issue please email and we can look to make alternative arrangements.

Membership Renewal and New Members 

Please follow the steps below:

1.Please email with your name, address and membership type.  

If you are an existing member renewing membership, please include your membership number (you can find this on the back of your MRFC Membership swipe card).

2.Set up a payment (details below) for the appropriate membership fee listed below to be received by the Club before 31 August 2021.  

If you would like to take advantage of our Standing Order option to pay your membership over 12 months, please ensure your 1st payment is received before 31 August 2021 followed by 11 monthly payments.


3. For new members, please indicate if you are happy for us to stay in touch with you via email through the season (newsletter, events, club news).

Patron & Life Members – no action required

If you are not renewing your membership please return your membership card to the club.

Memberships will not be activated until we receive this email and payment or 1st standing order instalment.

Bank Transfer – Please make payments to sort code 801768 account 00224261 using reference ‘YOURSURNAME2021MEMB’ to avoid delay.
Standing Order – For appropriate membership types (see fee info) you can take advantage of a monthly standing order for a 12 month period using the information as per bank transfer. 


While we prefer bank transfer or standing orders, if this causes you a problem please email and we can make alternative payment arrangements.

Existing members
You were issued an electronic swipe card with your existing membership payment which showed your 4 digit membership number and was used to swipe to receive your 10% discount at the bar.
All membership cards where membership is not renewed by 31 August 2021 will be deactivated and asked to be returned to the club if membership is not to be renewed.

New Members
You will be issued a new electronic swipe card. This can be used to gain an immediate 10% discount at the bar.  

Given the current CoVid restrictions new membership cards will be mailed out to you shortly after we receive your application email and confirm your payment (or 1st Standing Order instalment). Please therefore ensure any bank transfer / standing order payments are correctly referenced to avoid delay. 

The new membership card is non-transferable.
