We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of our former players - Dougie Findlay.
Fireman Fred as he was affectionately known was a versatile player having played for the club in most positions in the forwards and backs during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
He was a popular member of the club and enjoyed our touring extravaganzas.
Dougie moved west after his marriage but was always interested in the performance of his club.
Dougie’s funeral will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium on 5th August at 3pm.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
