The fixtures for the upcoming season were announced by Scottish Rugby yesterday.
We will be playing in the Tennent's Light National Competition in Conference B. The five other teams in our conference are all regional teams, reducing the need for long distance travel and any fixture changes due to local lockdowns.
We start the season at home on the 31st October against fellow Premiership side Edinburgh Accies followed with an away trip to Watsonians.
We will play each team twice in Stage 1 with the winner of the Conference progressing to the play off. After our last game against Heriot's on the 30th January, we move into Stage 2 where we play 3 other teams once (two home games and two away games).
This means we will be playing Currie twice away followed by a run of three games against border teams, including a trip away to fellow Premiership side Hawick. The winner of this pool will also progress to the play offs (where the same team qualifies for the playoffs in Stage 1 and Stage 2 the highest-ranking team in the same pool will also progress to the playoffs)
There are several standby dates in the case of any changes to the matches.
As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak our matches for the foreseeable future will be played behind closed doors. We are exploring multiple options to be able to deliver our home matches to you and will provide updates as this situation progresses.
Our full fixtures will be available here and we shall announce our 2XV fixtures later today.
