We informed our members on Wednesday 30th September that all club facilities were temporarily suspended due to confirmation of a positive Covid-19 test result for an individual who had been at training at Stoneyhill on Tuesday 22nd and Thursday 24th September.
Since hearing this news, we have carried out a full risk assessment and communicated with our Head Coach, Director of Rugby and all of our Covid Team Leads to identify if there had been any possibility of the virus being spread to any other sections of the club.
As a result of our own internal investigations and after communicating with Scottish Rugby and contact from Test and Protect, we are now in a position to reopen all facilities at the Clubhouse and training for all age groups can resume with immediate effect.
We will continue to remain vigilant and take decisive action if necessary as the safety of all of our players and members is paramount.
The Board would like to take this opportunity of thanking Neil and his staff, our coaches, team managers, players and our club physiotherapist who from the very beginning of this pandemic, have worked tirelessly to follow all the safety guidelines in order to keep everyone as safe as possible in these challenging times.
