MRFC PRE SEASON TRAINING
DEAR ALL MRFC SENIOR PLAYERS ! ........
MRFC PRE SEASON TRAINING will start on Tuesday 7th and Thursday 9th July 6.30 for 7pm start.
Pinkie may not be available so meet at Stoneyhill (provisionally waiting on update).
11th JULY ..... PLAYERS' INTER-CLUB 7's TOURNAMENT and BAR-B-Q at STONEYHILL. Meet 12 noon for
1pm KO. Bar-B-Q after finals.
Hopefully you will be keen to show how fit and active you have all been over the few weeks since the end of last season?!
REMEMBER to bring or invite any new players you have recruited or contacted over the summer!
There are 4 pre-season fixtures being arranged for August so get training and be prepared for the new season.
To be confirmed are: 1st Aug RHC, 8th Murrayfield Wands, 15th Lasswade, 22nd Biggar
As always the club is LOOKING FOR SPONSORS so remember to ask your boss, employers, pals, rich uncles, aunts, the rest of your family or anyone you know that has a business if they would like to SPONSOR MRFC for season 2009-10. Word of mouth is the best way to get the message out so just ASK it costs you nothing and could benefit YOUR CLUB!
KEY SPONSORS DRAW
Following on from the success of our Key Sponsors Draw last season I am pleased to advise you that we are now launching our Key Sponsors Draw for the coming season. The format is the same as last season as detailed below -
We are giving YOU the chance to become Musselburgh Rugby Football Club's Key Sponsor for season 2009/10 for an amount of £100.
This is your invitation to add your name to a draw, to be held in our clubhouse on 14 July 2009 when the winning name will be announced as a Key Sponsor for the forthcoming season.

AGM
The AGM will be held at Stoneyhill at 8PM on the 11th of June.
MRFC Classics
An effort is being made within the club to create a "Classics" side to participate in a regular league. We already have the Over 35s side that plays occasionally but the idea is to extend this , play more frequent rugby and have more frequent events at the club for this age group.
One potential event being considered is a start of season tournament.
"The Classics" would be a highly social and family focused venture (both the initial tournament and the league). The extent of commitment from individuals will not be high assuming we can put together a squad of around 30-40 bodies, which we genuinely think is possible. This would mean you can opt in and out of games as you wish. In any case, we are talking about one game per month over the season, biased to the better weather months.
Games would be fun, as such, as an example, scrums would be uncontested and substitutions would be unlimited.
